It's air! It's people's imaginations. That's the problem with credit. You're being given money that you don't have, which means it doesn't exist, essentially. That's why Chinese mommies teach you to treat your credit card as if it is just a stand-in for your cash and only spend what you KNOW you have. Bah, so frustrating, and scary, and nonsensical. That was the problem, and IS the problem with our economy today: half this “money” isn’t real! It’s air! It’s people’s imaginations. That’s the problem with credit.
